Using a standard tripod, with standard tripod mechanics. Fixed exposure. This image is made up of 13 images.
The
lens (50mm) has a natural bow in it that distorts the edges slightly.
This is not noticeable by eye but becomes very obvious when compared to
the other images.
By taking multiple images and stitching
together the sweet spots, one can essentially create a panoramic with a
minimum of retouching.
Using this newer technique, I have been able to stitch the images together more quickly and with better results.
